Employee Wellness

A representation of diversity.

The mind can go in a thousand directions, but on this beautiful path, I walk in peace. With each step, the wind blows. With each step, a flower blooms.

Employee Wellness

In today’s high-pressure work environments, mental wellness isn’t optional — it’s essential.

I help organizations cultivate healthier, more resilient teams through a holistic approach to workplace well-being. With a focus on mindfulness, emotional resilience, and mental health education, I support leaders, employees, and entire teams in creating cultures where people feel grounded, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Why work with me?

With me, you get the knowledge, skills, and experience of 3 distinct but incredibly complementary disciplines to help you identify wellness goals, develop a strategy, track progress, assess outcomes, and create sustainable change.

Researcher

As a researcher, I stay abreast of recent developments in the field, conduct studies of my own, and publish. I am the co-author of a textbook on multicultural psychology. You can trust me to use effective methods to gather, analyze, interpret, and apply data to your specific situation.

Clinician

With over 30 years of experience as a practicing clinical psychologist, I help individuals and teams develop mindfulness strategies, manage stress, and build emotional resilience — guiding your workplace toward greater wellbeing, empathy, and a supportive, healthier environment.

Educator

As an educator, I teach and train future mental health professionals, using a combination of theory, research, real-world experience, and interactive methods. My goal is to equip students with the knowledge, awareness, and practical skills to support wellbeing and excel in their careers.

What is wellness?

Workplace wellness means more than fitness perks or stress-relief tips. True wellness includes mental, emotional, and relational health—especially in fast-paced or high-demand environments. When organizations prioritize emotional wellness, they see:

Focus & Creativity

Improved focus, creativity, and collaboration

Well-being & Retention

Decreased burnout, absenteeism, and turnover

Engagement & Culture

Stronger engagement, morale, and culture

I work with organizations to understand their unique challenges and design psychologically informed strategies that support the whole person—at work and beyond.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully aware, in the present moment, without judgment. In the workplace, mindfulness helps individuals and teams:

Regulate Stress & Stay Grounded

Mindfulness helps you notice stress and stay steady, so you can respond calmly and thoughtfully in any situation.

Clarity in Challenges

Staying present allows you to approach workplace challenges with greater focus, perspective, and resilience.

Lead & Communicate Effectively

Mindfulness supports clear leadership and communication, helping you connect and collaborate with others more effectively.

Mindfulness doesn’t require silence or perfection. It’s about bringing your attention back — to this breath, this moment, this decision. I teach mindfulness as both a practical tool and a lived experience, offering training and facilitation for all levels of comfort and experience.

Mindfulness is not about sitting on a cushion in a monastery. It’s about small things that make a big difference in your everyday life.

Live Mindfulness Sessions

In addition to education and strategy, I offer guided mindfulness experiences designed to help teams pause, reset, and re-center—no prior experience required.

These experiential sessions are ideal for:

  • Stress relief during peak workload periods
  • Focus and clarity before high-stakes meetings or projects
  • Mental and emotional resets following transitions, team changes, or workplace tension
  • Ongoing wellness support as part of a monthly or quarterly rhythm

Mindfulness sessions may include:

  • Guided meditations for grounding, stress reduction, or present-moment awareness
  • Breathwork and body scans to reduce physical tension and increase emotional regulation
  • Silent reflection or journaling prompts for deeper self-connection
  • Group check-ins or shared intention-setting to foster community and psychological safety

Sessions can be delivered in-person or virtually, and are typically 15 to 60 minutes, depending on your goals. Whether woven into leadership retreats, wellness weeks, workday breaks, or standing team meetings, these experiences give your people the gift of stillness in a world that rarely slows down.
